We are active in Pastoral Work in Parishes. We manage parishes: 1 in Cebu, 1 in Bohol, 1 in Surigao, 5 in Agusan del Sur and 3 in Olutanga, Sibugay – Zamboanga.
Drugs, sex trade and unemployment are just some of the causes of poverty. We give health care and moral assistance to the victims of man-made evil. These marginalized families and individuals are adopted by the congregation as partners and collaborators of the mission. Adopted communities include slum areas, communities of fishermen and sexually abused children. Only gifted confreres can offer their time and effort to this kind of apostolate and our province is blessed with some members.
A confrere is assigned full time to the Cultural Communities in the District of Agusan in the diocese of Butuan. He concentrates on training and educating the young among the tribal Filipinos. After a painstaking research and initial exposure, he concludes that this is the best and the most realistic help we can offer.
Caring for the sick was one of Jesus' priorities. In solidarity with our sick brothers and sisters, a confreres are assigned as chaplain to answer the spiritual and psychological needs of the patients at the Divine Word Hospital in Tacloban City, Leyte and in Holy Name University Medical Center in Tagbilaran, Bohol.
Prayer is the battery of our spiritual life. It has to be charged and renewed from time to time. We offer a place for spiritual exercises in Retreat House in Banat-I Hill in Tagbilaran City, Bohol and in Retreat House in Talamban Campus of University of San Carlos in Cebu City. The places are perfect for people who search for physical rest, spiritual renewal and quietness of the soul.
